The Disciplined Trader
Privacy Policy
The Disciplined Trader (TDT) browser extension · Last updated 12 October 2026
TDT helps you stick to your own trading rules on Axiom, Terminal (trade.padre.gg) and GMGN. This policy explains what information TDT uses, where it goes, and what we never do. In short: your data stays in your browser. We don't run servers that collect it, we don't sell it, and we never ask for your seed phrase or access to your funds.
What TDT stores, and where
Everything below is saved only in your own browser, using Chrome's extension storage. It is not sent to us.
- Your rules and settings, such as trade limits, cool-offs, loss and win limits, trading windows and appearance.
- Your public wallet address, so TDT can read your trade history. This is a public address, never a private key or seed phrase.
- An optional Helius API key, if you choose to add one.
- Your trade history as read from the blockchain (buys, sells, amounts and times), kept for about 7 days, plus a list of your closed trades.
- Your journal entries and trade notes, which you write yourself.
- Small daily tallies, such as how many buys TDT stopped, used for your stats and share cards.
- Your list of watched wallets, if you add any.
If you uninstall TDT, this data is deleted by your browser. You can save a copy first with Settings › Backup & restore. Backups never include your Helius key.
Services TDT talks to
To work, TDT sends a small amount of information directly from your browser to these third-party services. We don't control them, and their own privacy policies apply.
| Service | What is sent | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Solana network providers: the public Solana network (api.mainnet-beta.solana.com), PublicNode (solana-rpc.publicnode.com) or Helius (if you add a key) | Your public wallet address and requests for its public transactions and balance. For coin checks, the address of the coin you're viewing. | To count your trades, work out your P&L, and check coin holders. |
| DexScreener (api.dexscreener.com) | The address of the coin you're viewing. | To read the coin's name, market cap and trading pairs. |
These requests go straight from your browser to the provider. They don't pass through any server of ours.
Trading sites
On Axiom, Terminal and GMGN, TDT reads what's on the page (such as the coin address, the Buy button and the amount you enter) so it can apply your rules and lock the Buy button when needed. It doesn't read your passwords or private keys, it doesn't place, change or cancel trades, and it can't move your funds. TDT runs only on those three sites.
What we never do
- Ask for your seed phrase or private key, or connect to your wallet to sign anything.
- Sell, rent or share your information.
- Use your information for advertising.
- Collect your browsing history outside the three trading sites above.
Contacting us
If you email us (for example with Send feedback or Report a page problem), we receive what you choose to send, such as your message, the page details you paste and your TDT version. We use it only to reply and to fix problems.
Email: contact.thedisciplinedtrader@gmail.com
Notifications
If notifications are on, TDT uses Chrome notifications to tell you when a cool-off ends or your trading window opens. They are created on your device. You can switch them off in Settings.
Not financial advice
TDT is a discipline tool. It doesn't tell you what to buy or sell, and nothing in it is financial advice.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will also be noted in the extension's What's new card.
